2E Establishing licensure requirements under the board of dentistry for oral
health practitioners and dental therapists; defining oral health practitioner,
dental therapist and resident dental providers; specifying practice limitations
and rules and qualifications for licensure; authorizing certain fees and
specifying certain supervision and recordkeeping requirements; defining the
scope of practice and prescribing authority of a licensed oral health
practitioner or dental therapist; regulating application of other laws and use
of dental allied personnel; defining certain terms; specifying prohibited acts
and penalties; requiring board of dentistry to evaluate the impact of the use of
oral health practitioners and dental therapists on the delivery of and access to
dental services and specifying an expiration date, requiring report to the
legislature; requiring rulemaking; appropriating money to board of dentistry for
licensing oral health practitioners and dental therapists; repealing a certain
provision relating to oral health practitioners
