1E Establishing a environmental health tracking and biomonitoring program;
requiring the commissioner of health to coordinate data collection activities
with the Minnesota pollution control agency (PCA), department of agriculture,
university of Minnesota and other relevant state agencies to promote sharing and
access to health and environmental databases in order to develop an
environmental health tracking system consistent with data practices laws,
specifying commissioner duties, requiring the department of health to conduct
biomonitoring and share results with certain groups; providing for a
biomonitoring pilot program; directing the commissioner to consult with certain
organizations to specify chemicals and metals to be analyzed under the pilot
program; requiring the commissioners of health, PCA, agriculture and the
university of Minnesota to jointly develop a memorandum for information sharing;
appropriating money to the commissioner of the PCA
