and duties of the commissioner of public safety and law enforcement agencies,
regulating investigation and entry of information, requiring federal law
compliance; specifying certain information requirements to be provided by the
law enforcement agency to family members or person filing the report; modifying
certain provisions relating to missing persons bulletin, release of medical
data, reporting to the bureau of criminal apprehension (BCA) and updated manual
and policy requirements for investigating cases involving persons missing or
