Establishing a crisis intervention team (CIT) state council to encourage and
support statewide development of law enforcement CIT's and promote development
of local collaboratives between public safety professionals, community leaders
and citizens; requiring commissioner of public safety to appoint members;
requiring at least one council employee to be responsible for coordination of
statewide CIT training; appropriating money to the commissioner of public safety
to fund grants to local police departments
