Detaching certain areas in the cities of Champlin, Dayton and Coon +Rapids from
independent school district #11, Anoka-Hennepin to be classified as a+ new
independent school district and assigned an identification number by +the
commissioner of children, families and learning (CFL), requiring +classification
of the remaining areas of the Anoka-Hennepin school district as a new
independent school district to be assigned a new identification +number;
providing for election of boards for the new district and for the +newly
reconstituted Anoka-Hennepin district; specifying the tax liability +of property
in the detached areas and in the former district for existing bonded +debt;
requiring the commissioner to issue an order for the division and +distribution
of current assets, liabilities, claims and contract obligations of +the former
school district for the new school districts to operate as separate +units,
requiring the order to transfer the interests in real estate to the +new
districts; providing for the assignment of licensed and nonlicensed +employees
of the new and newly reconstituted districts (je)
