reserve corps volunteers; requiring certain interviews for investigation of
vulnerable adult complaints against a health maintenance organization (HMO);
specifying certain confirmation requirements for health professional education
loan forgiveness participants; "Minnesota Radon Awareness Act", requiring radon
education disclosure for residential real property and providing exclusions;
requiring supervised living facility, outpatient surgical center, boarding care
home, nursing home, home care, and hospice providers to establish and maintain a
comprehensive tuberculosis (TB) infection control program; modifying
investigative duties of the director of the office of health facility
complaints, requiring family member interviews; modifying adverse health events
reporting requirements and designating new adverse health events; exempting
homeless shelters from providing a consumer information guide; modifying the
poison control center grant award process; specifying Minnesota responds medical
reserve corps liability coverage and authorizing and providing for the
commissioner of health to develop agreements to conduct criminal background
studies on persons in the Minnesota responds medical reserve corps; changing
provisions for body art establishments and body art technicians and providing a
penalty for license violations; defining occupational therapy practitioner for
regulation purposes and conforming certain provisions; modifying prescribing
authority for legend drugs; requiring a seller of residential real property to
comply with radon disclosure requirements; repealing certain provisions of the
loan repayment program, and certain provisions relating to body art, body
piercing, and tattoos on minors
