increasing the asset limits under medical assistance (MA) for qualified medicare
beneficiaries for eligibility purposes; requiring the commissioner of human
services in consultation with the commissioners of health and commerce to study
the extent and type of medicare supplement coverage for low income seniors and
the development of a comprehensive set of services to supplement medicare for
qualified beneficiaries eligible for medical assistance to ensure independence
