relationship serving as election judges; modifying election judge
appointment
lists; requiring lists to be furnished to the secretary of state
and secretary of state to furnish electronic lists to county auditors and county
auditors to forward names to municipal clerks; allowing appointing authorities
to pass resolutions authorizing appointment of additional election judges
within
a certain time prior to elections; expanding the use of mail balloting;
increasing the time allowed for mailing ballots; submitting questions in special
elections conducted by mail; modifying certain requirements for town elections;
permitting towns adopting an alternative November election date to adopt a
resolution changing the date to the second Tuesday in March; permitting adoption
of a resolution providing for six year terms for town supervisors
