organizations; eliminating the requirement for HMO notice to the commissioner of
health of name and address changes of participating entities and of contracts or
agreements duration and extending the time limit for notice to the commissioner
of provider contract terminations; establishing a task force on small business
health insurance to study the health coverage market available to small
businesses and to make recommendations to the legislature by a certain date on
private market solutions to group health coverage accessibility and
affordability problems, requiring the commissioners of commerce and health to
assist the task force and specifying certain task force membership requirements;
repealing certain health plan company action plan requirements (ra, ja)
