Authorizing and providing for the harvesting of farmed cervidae on +licensed
shooting preserves; specifying license application requirements and +fees;
prohibiting the operation of cervidae shooting preserves without a +license,
providing for issuance by the commissioner of natural resources (DNR)+ in
consultation with the commissioner of agriculture; specifying certain+ stocked
game requirements and restrictions and requiring shooting preserves +to
participate in the state chronic wasting disease surveillance +program;
specifying certain reserve size and cover, boundaries posting and +fencing
requirements; requiring removal of wild cervidae before licensing at +owner
expense; authorizing the commissioner of natural resources to revoke +shooting
preserve licenses for violation of the requirements; exempting the +preserves
from hunting license requirements and authorizing hunting by archery +or
firearms; prescribing the open hunting season, authorizing +commissioner
restrictions under certain conditions; authorizing licensees to +establish
certain restrictions; specifying certain cervidae identification and +marking
and shooting preserve recordkeeping requirements, requiring annual +reports to
the board of animal health and granting the board access to records; +imposing a
fee per cervid taken; appropriating license fees to the commissioner +for
administration and enforcement purposes and requiring fees to be +credited to
the game and fish fund(ra)
