2E "Safe and Supportive Minnesota Schools Act"; requiring the department of
education school performance report card to include summary data on student
bullying, cyberbullying, harassment, intimidation, and remedial response
incidents; authorizing the commissioner to use the summary data to inform the
school climate center; providing a school policy to provide safe and supportive
schools; requiring the commissioner to establish a safe and supportive schools
grant program; allowing staff development activities to include restorative and
reparative best practices training; making conforming changes; requiring charter
school compliance; modifying department program goals and parent and family
involvement policy to include establishing a positive school climate and
requiring advisory committee recommendations; requiring schools with internet
access to adopt and implement a cyberbullying prohibition policy; establishing a
school climate center to assist districts to provide a safe learning
environment; establishing a council to advance safe and supportive schools and
prevent student bullying; appropriating money to the department of education;
repealing discrimination model policy and school board policy prohibiting
intimidation and bullying
