Modifying authority for the state fire code by authorizing commissioner of
public safety state fire code promulgation through the division of fire marshal;
modifying state building code by defining fire protection feature and requiring
the commissioner of public safety to consult with the state fire marshal;
requiring state fire marshal state building code enforcement with regard to fire
protection systems; providing a state building code exemption for certain
existing school buildings undergoing remodeling; repealing commissioner of labor
and industry state fire code rulemaking authority
