Relating to education; allowing school attendance excuse notes from physicians
(MD) or licensed mental health professional (psychologist) for compulsory school
attendance legitimate exemptions, adding an attendance exemption for mental
health ongoing treatment or diagnosis; requiring students in day treatment or
residential facilities in the summer to be automatically eligible for district
summer school programs; requiring the safe schools levy to pay for the costs of
mental health crisis intervention team training for peace (police and sheriff)
officers
