3E Relating to alcoholic beverages; eliminating certain wort use and off-sale
restrictions for certain brewpubs; authorizing the city of Minneapolis to issue
an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to the Guthrie theater concessionaire or
operator for a restaurant and catering operation on the premises; authorizing
exclusive liquor stores to sell liquid or powder designated for mixing with
intoxicating liquor; modifying the provision regulating wine shipments into the
state to partially conform to a recent federal supreme court decision; exempting
wine tastings at fine wine and gourmet food exhibitor conventions from the
duration limit under certain conditions; further restricting the purchase,
possession or consumption by and the sale, furnishing or serving of alcoholic
beverages to persons under the age of 21; providing uniform hours statewide for
off-sales of alcoholic beverages and extending the hours for on-sales of
alcoholic beverages on Sundays; authorizing the sale of malt liquor under a wine
license previously issued to the Lyric arts company for the Main street stage
theatre in the city of Anoka; authorizing alcoholic beverage sales at all events
on all days of the week under the Elko speedway previously issued on-sale
intoxicating liquor license; authorizing the city of Breckenridge to issue a
seasonal on-sale intoxicating liquor license to the Bois de Sioux golf club;
authorizing the city of Caledonia to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor
license to Caledonia area community charities for the Four Seasons center, the
city of Detroit Lakes to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license or on-sale
wine and malt liquor licenses to the Castaway inn and resort, the city of Duluth
to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license for the Enger Park golf course,
the city of Eden Prairie to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to
entities holding operating food service contracts with the city for operation of
the cafeteria for use at special events held in the cafeteria of a certain
premises owned by the city, the city of Mankato to issue an on-sale intoxicating
liquor license to the Midwest Wireless civic center and the Mille Lacs county
board to issue an off-sale intoxicating liquor license to an exclusive liquor
store in Eastside township
