1E Reducing the annual county license fees to a family or group family child
care applicant for background studies and licensing inspections under the human
services licensing act; specifying certain adult foster care, family adult day
services and child foster care background study duties by the commissioner of
human services; requiring the commissioner to conduct a background study at the
time of reapplication for a family child care license and to conduct a
background study of an individual newly affiliated with a family care license
holder; requiring county agencies to collect family child care background
information and forward the information to the commissioner; requiring the
commissioner to implement a system for the electronic transmission of family
child care background study results to county agencies for studies conducted by
the commissioner; eliminating family child care homes from the background
studies conducted by the county; specifying certain notice requirements;
requiring submission of reconsideration requests to county agencies;
appropriating money to the commissioner for the background studies for family
and group family child care providers
