Modifying certain licensing and registration requirements for physicians,
acupuncturists and athletic trainers; modifying certain time limits for
physician license applicants enrolled in or graduated from certain accredited
dual degree programs or osteopathic equivalents and taking the United States
medical licensing examination (USMLE) and certain requirements for licensing by
endorsement or reciprocity and for the licensing of certain foreign medical
school graduates; modifying a certain license renewal requirement relating to
professional development activity for certain acupuncture practitioners licensed
by equivalency or reciprocity and extending the expiration date of the
acupuncture advisory council; prohibiting the renewal of temporary athletic
trainer registrations, authorizing the board of medical practice to issue
temporary permits to practice as an athletic trainer to eligible registration
applicants for a nonrefundable fee and requiring the board to establish certain
fees, authorizing proration (rla)
