Relating to pupil transportation; expanding the use of the transit assistance
fund to include pupil (student) transportation costs and specifying an amount to
be transferred from the greater Minnesota transit and the metropolitan area
transit accounts to the commissioner of education, requiring commissioner funds
use for school district student transportation grants, requiring the
metropolitan transportation area sales tax joint powers board to allocate a
certain amount of sales tax revenue to the department of education for student
transportation grants
