Defining or redefining certain terms; clarifying certain duties of
the commissioner of human rights, certain reasonable and public accommodations
requirements, discriminatory practices, grievances and the processing of charges
ARTICLE 2 - OBSOLETE LANGUAGE AMENDMENTS
Modifying certain language relating
to access to public service and hearings; repealing the definitions of state
board of human rights and party in interest
ARTICLE 3 - OMISSIONS
AMENDMENTS
Expanding the public policy of freedom from discrimination relating
to employment, public accommodations, the extension of credit, business
participation and certain reprisals, unfair employment practices to a basis on
membership or activity in local human rights commissions and unfair
discriminatory practices in real property transactions to a basis on religion
and familial status
