information from the definition of personally identifiable +information;
requiring reasonable authentication of consumer identity before +provider
disclosure of personally identifiable information to subjects of the information
and requiring provider disclosure of the information +required by a certain
federal law; providers not to be required to create or +retrieve information in
formats not maintained by the provider at the time of +request for disclosure or
to establish or maintain a system for retrieval of +personally identifiable
information retained and stored temporarily and used +only for system backup or
other technical purposes and not disclosed to third+ parties; clarifying
certain provider exemptions from the regulations (mk, ja)
