Section 1: Various advisory council and committee expiration dates modified.
Sec. 2: "Marketing cooperatives" and "family farm corporations" added to
value-added agricultural product processing and marketing grant program. Sec. :
Late fee for using "Minnesota grown" logo without a license eliminated. Sec. 4:
"Private contributions" defined. Sec. 5: Shared savings loan program
established, loan criteria modified, loan awarding procedures modified, and
provisions to include farm manure digester technology included. Sec. 6:
Sustainable agriculture demonstration grant program eligibility and purpose
modified. Sec. 7: Animal feedlot pollution control effective dates modified.
Sec. 8: Pesticide application examination review board report to commissioner
eliminated. Sec. 9: Food safety advisory committee changed to food safety task
force and expiration date extended. Sec. 10: Egg storing equipment regulations
modified. Sec. 11: Egg temperature regulations modified. Sec. 12: Egg
transportation vehicle temperature regulations modified. Sec. 13: Federal egg
regulations provided. Sec. 14: Dairy grade rules and manufacturing plant
standards established. Sec. 15: Financial assistance criteria modified. Sec. 16:
Food safety farm inspection required. Sec. 17: 1995 Grade A Condensed and Dry
Milk Ordinance adopted. Sec. 18: Milk quality standards date modified. Sec. 19:
Minnesota butter grades adjusted to comply with federal grades. Sec. 20-22:
Technical changes provided, statutory references modified. Sec. 23: Restructured
loan eligibility requirements modified. Sec. 24: General powers of the authority
modified to maximize usage of Minnesota-produced agricultural products. Sec. 25:
Loan participation amounts increased. Sec. 26: Regulations against loans to
refinance an existing debt rescinded. Sec. 27: Value-added agricultural product
loan program provided for individuals who already own and operate an
agricultural product processing facility. Sec. 28: Definition of "agricultural
land" modified. Sec. 29: "Farm tractor" and "person" defined. Sec. 30: Farm
tractor clock-hour meter tampering prohibited. Sec. 31: Civil penalties and
private right of action provided. Sec. 32: County board bounty for destruction
of coyotes allowed. Sec. 33: Poultry rule suspended. Sec. 34: Repealer. Sec. 35:
