A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a new water tower in the
city of North St. Paul; canceling a prior appropriation for the city of North St. Paul.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $4,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the general fund to the Public
Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of North St. Paul to design, construct, and equip
a new water tower. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is
completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.

new text begin The $4,500,000 appropriation from the general fund in Laws 2023, chapter 71, article
1, section 14, subdivision 30, for capital improvements to the community outreach facility
in the city of North St. Paul is canceled.
