A bill for an act
relating to veterans; appropriating money for a woman veterans memorial in the
city of Eagan.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; WOMAN VETERANS MEMORIAL.

new text begin $20,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Eagan to design and
construct a memorial to recognize those women who served honorably in the Armed Forces
of the United States during the 250 years since this Country's founding. This is a onetime
appropriation and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to
Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
