A bill for an act
 relating to education finance; modifying a general education aid deduction by
correcting an obsolete apportionment reference; amending Minnesota Statutes
2024, section 126C.21, subdivision 3.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 126C.21, subdivision 3, is amended to read:


Subd. 3.

County apportionment deduction.

Each year the amount of money apportioned
to a district for that year pursuant to deleted text begin sectionsdeleted text end new text begin sectionnew text end 127A.34, subdivision 2, deleted text begin and 272.029,
subdivision 6,deleted text end must be deducted from the general education aid earned by that district for
the same year or from aid earned from other state sources.
