relating to state government; renaming the State Office Building after Melissa
Hortman; specifying signage costs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MELISSA HORTMAN STATE OFFICE BUILDING.

new text begin The state building located at 100 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in St. Paul is
renamed as the Melissa Hortman State Office Building.

Sec. 2. new text begin SIGNAGE COSTS ABSORBED.

new text begin The commissioner of administration must absorb any costs incurred by the commissioner
to modify or replace signage as necessary to conform with section 1.

Sec. 3. new text begin REVISOR INSTRUCTION.

new text begin The revisor of statutes shall replace "State Office Building" with "the Melissa Hortman
State Office Building" wherever it appears in Minnesota Statutes and Minnesota Rules.
