BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROGRAM.

$20,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $20,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for the safe routes to school
program under Minnesota Statutes, section 174.40. $20,000,000 is added to the annual base
for this activity.
