A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; appropriating money for all-terrain vehicle trails.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; VOYAGEUR COUNTRY ATV TRAIL.

new text begin $380,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the all-terrain vehicle account in the
natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to St. Louis
County for design, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, and construction of trails within
the Voyageur Country ATV trail system. This is a onetime appropriation and is available
until June 30, 2028.

new text begin $175,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the all-terrain vehicle account in the
natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to St. Louis
County for design, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, and construction of trails and a new
trail bridge within the Prospectors Loop trail system. This is a onetime appropriation and
is available until June 30, 2028.
