 relating to mental health; appropriating money for an African health collaborative
grant program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; AFRICAN HEALTH COLLABORATIVE GRANT
PROGRAM.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of human services to establish a grant program that requires
grantees to work with families in the African immigrant community to address mental health
issues. This is a onetime appropriation.
