A bill for an act
 relating to human services; appropriating money to Interfaith Action for shelter
operations and programming.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; EMERGENCY FAMILY SHELTER OPERATIONS
AND PROGRAMMING.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
human services for a grant to Interfaith Action for operations and programming costs. Money
may be used for shelter operations, case management, staffing, on-site support services,
and programming to promote stability and self-sufficiency for families experiencing
homelessness. This is appropriation is available until June 30, 2027.
