A bill for an act
 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to Ramsey
County for workforce development programming.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Ramsey County,
in partnership with the city of St. Paul, for workforce development programming, including
Learn and Earn, which provides training pathways for youth and young adults ages 18-30,
including a technology training program and driver's license academy. This is a onetime
appropriation and is available until June 30, 2028.
