relating to housing; requiring that certain bills be referred to the legislative
committees with jurisdiction over housing finance and policy; proposing coding
for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 3.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

[3.193] REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW REGULATIONS ON HOUSING.

If a bill would increase the cost of residential construction or remodeling by $3,000 or
more per unit, the bill must be referred to the legislative committees and divisions with
jurisdiction over housing finance and policy.
