A bill for an act
 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to YWCA
Minneapolis.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; YWCA MINNEAPOLIS.

new text begin $350,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $350,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development
for a grant to the YWCA Minneapolis to provide training to eligible individuals, including
job skills training, career counseling, and job placement assistance necessary to secure a
child development associate credential and to have a career path in early education.
