A bill for an act
relating to higher education; modifying grant program to higher education
institutions; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 136A.1241, by adding a
subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 136A.1241, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

An account is created in the special
revenue fund for receiving money to provide grants to eligible students under this section.
Money deposited in the account is appropriated to the commissioner of the Office of Higher
Education for foster grants.
