relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to African Career
Education and Resource, Inc.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; AFRICAN CAREER EDUCATION AND
RESOURCE, INC.

new text begin $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center
for grants to African Career Education and Resource, Inc. for programming; public education
classes, events, and forums; community outreach and engagement; and cultural events and
classes to teach the public about the historical, cultural, and folk arts heritage of African
Minnesotans.
