A bill for an act
relating to child care; modifying process for closing a license; amending Minnesota
Statutes 2024, section 142B.25, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 142B.25, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

A license holder that voluntarily stops providing
child care services or does not renew the license issued under this chapter may choose not
to return the license to the commissioner.
