A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; appropriating money for the small cities assistance
account.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SMALL CITIES ASSISTANCE ACCOUNT; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin (a) $25,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of transportation for deposit into the small cities assistance account under
Minnesota Statutes, section 162.145, subdivision 2. This is a onetime appropriation.

new text begin (b) All of the funds deposited under paragraph (a) must be allocated and distributed
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 162.145, in the July 2025 payment.
