A bill for an act
 relating to the operation and financing of state and local government; repealing
Laws 2024, chapter 127; directing various entities to submit conforming legislation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin Laws 2024, chapter 127, is repealed retroactively from May
23, 2024.

new text begin Conforming legislation. new text end

new text begin By January 15, 2026, each executive branch agency
and board and each constitutional office must submit to the legislature draft legislation that
achieves the repeal of Laws 2024, chapter 127, by July 1, 2026, in accordance with
subdivision 1.

new text begin (a) Subdivision 1 is effective July 1, 2026.
