A bill for an act
 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to renovate the historic
Hibbing High School Auditorium in the city of Hibbing.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; HISTORIC HIBBING HIGH SCHOOL
AUDITORIUM RENOVATION.

new text begin $785,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $785,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the governing board of the Minnesota Historical Society
for a grant to the Hibbing School District (Independent School District No. 701) to preserve
and renovate the historic Hibbing High School Auditorium, including repairs to the Barton
pipe organ, stage, stage curtain, projector booth, electrical, dressing rooms, and sprinkler
system and other repairs and renovations to the historic auditorium.
