A bill for an act
 relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to Comunidades
Organizando el Poder y la Acción Latina (COPAL).

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $750,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $750,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to
Comunidades Organizando el Poder y la Acción Latina (COPAL) for capacity building,
worker's center programming, youth workforce programming, career planning, GED
attainment classes, educational resources and materials, health resources, training programs,
and job navigation. This is a onetime appropriation.
