relating to public safety; castration or sterilization of minors prohibited; imposing
criminal penalties; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter
609.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

PROHIBITED.

new text begin A person who does either of the following to a person under the age of 18 years is guilty
of a felony:

new text begin (1) physical or chemical castration; or
new text end

new text begin (2) any surgery, procedure, or administration of drugs that results in the person being
unable to conceive a child.
