A bill for an act
 relating to energy; appropriating money for an anaerobic digestor energy system.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 116C.779, subdivision 1, paragraph (j),
$....... in fiscal year 2025 and $........ in fiscal year 2026 are appropriated from the renewable
development account established in Minnesota Statutes, section 116C.779, subdivision 1,
to the commissioner of commerce for a grant to Recycling and Energy, in partnership with
Dem-Con HZI Bioenergy, LLC, to construct an anaerobic digestor energy system in
Louisville Township.

that uses diverted food and organic waste to create renewable natural gas and biochar.
