relating to support for families; appropriating money for the family assets for
independence program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; FAMILY ASSETS FOR INDEPENDENCE
ONGOING FUNDING.

new text begin $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of children, youth, and families for the purposes of
the Minnesota family assets for independence initiative under section 142F.20.
