A bill for an act
 relating to children; appropriating money for the commissioner of children, youth,
and families to create and implement technology portals to connect individuals
with support systems.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CONNECTING TECHNOLOGY SERVICES.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2026 and $....... in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the general
fund to the commissioner of children, youth, and families to create and implement technology
portals on the Department of Children, Youth, and Families website that connect vulnerable
children and families with community support systems, including but not limited to churches,
nonprofit organizations, and civic organizations. This is a onetime appropriation.
