relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for the Fairmont Opera
House.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; FAIRMONT OPERA HOUSE.

$5,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to the Minnesota Historical Society for a grant to the historic Fairmont Opera House for
architectural and structural repairs to maintain the building for continued use as an arts and
cultural center.
