relating to economic development; providing a grant to the city of Northrop;
appropriating money.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CITY OF NORTHROP.

$230,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Northrop for costs
incurred by the city related to an elevator explosion and fire that occurred from December
28 to 30, 2017.
