A bill for an act
relating to agriculture; appropriating money for the Minnesota State Horticultural
Society.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA STATE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY;
APPROPRIATIONS.

$100,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $110,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of agriculture for the Minnesota State Horticultural Society
to provide resources and training to home gardeners, educators, community gardeners, and
urban farmers in Minnesota's cold climate growing conditions.
