A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for renovation of a homeless
shelter in the city of Minneapolis.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $5,750,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to People Serving People to design,
construct, furnish, and equip improvements for renovation of the organization's homeless
family shelter facility located in the city of Minneapolis. This appropriation is onetime and
is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes,
section 16A.642.
