A bill for an act
relating to transportation; designating the Michael Gau Memorial Bridge on U.S.
Highway 169 over Hennepin County State-Aid Highway 9 in the city of Plymouth;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin The bridge on marked U.S. Highway 169
over Hennepin County State-Aid Highway 9, known as Rockford Road, in the city of
Plymouth, is designated as "Michael Gau Memorial Bridge." Notwithstanding section
161.139, the commissioner must adopt a suitable design to mark the bridge and erect
appropriate signs.
