A bill for an act
 relating to higher education; appropriating money for the summer academic
enrichment program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of higher education for summer academic enrichment
grants under Minnesota Statutes, section 136A.091. The commissioner may use no more
than three percent of this appropriation each year to administer the grant program.
