relating to capital investment; appropriating money to Ka Joog for a workforce
training center.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$3,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development to make grants to Ka Joog for acquisition,
predesign, and design of a workforce training center focused on helping East African youth
succeed in jobs, skills training for a wide range of employment skills, entrepreneurship, and
ongoing career learning.
