 relating to workforce development; appropriating money to Summit Academy
OIC.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SUMMIT ACADEMY OIC; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant
to Summit Academy OIC to expand employment placement, GED preparation and
administration, and STEM programming in the Twin Cities, Saint Cloud, and Bemidji.
